The following improvements were made to the Catalyst Mobile App with the release on January 11, 2022 which is now available to download in the app stores.
IMPORTANT: Please upgrade to the latest app version of Catalyst to experience these improvements.
Significant improvements have been made to the way syncing occurs from the Portal to the Mobile App. Users will now see data updated on their mobile device much more frequently. Please watch this video to learn more about how this syncing feature will work:
The following actions sync student data from the portal to the app:
- Add a student to the device.
- Select a student on the Student Selection screen.
- Click the Refresh button on the student dashboard screen. This screen shows the last sync date/time for each student.
Note: student data refreshes a maximum of once every five minutes.
The following actions sync organization level data (such as forms, templates, and prompt codes):
- Add a user to the device.
- Unlock the application from the PIN screen.
- Select a student on the Student Selection screen.
- Click the new “Refresh” button on the student dashboard screen.
