This article is an overview of the Milestones section. It assesses 170 milestones balanced across 3 levels of typical development (0-18 months; 18-30 months; and 30-48 months). The milestones are qualifiable and measurable and can be used to document baseline and learning, or used for outcome research. The milestones cover 16 key domains.

- There are 16 Milestone domains which are presented in developmental sequence: Mands, Tacts, Listener, VP/MTS, Play, Social, Reading, Writing, Imitation, Echoic, LRFFC, IV, Group, Linguistics, Math, Vocal.
See Chapter 2 > Conducting the Assessment in the VB-MAPP Guide to learn more about the 16 domains.
NOTE: The scores for the Echoic section are automatically populated when the user scores the EESA assessment. You can also manually update the scores for the Echoic section.
- Each domain is scored according to three color-coded question levels. Level one is orange, level two is green, and level three is blue.
- See Chapter 3 > Mand - Level 1 in the VB-MAPP Guide to learn more about this level.
- See Chapter 4 > Mand - Level 2 in the VB-MAPP Guide to learn more about this level.
- See Chapter 5 > Mand - Level 3 in the VB-MAPP Guide to learn more about this level.
- See Chapter 3 > Mand - Level 1 in the VB-MAPP Guide to learn more about this level.
- Each level shows the total score populated for that level, which is based on how many points have been entered for each level. All of a level's total scores are added together for each domain to get an overall milestones score. Assessments are numbered in the grid (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.) and are based on the order they were entered on the main VB-MAPP table. For example, the total score for the 2nd assessment for level 1 here is then added into the overall milestones score here, which is the 2nd assessment entered on the main table in the second screenshot. When you open an assessment from the table it automatically opens that assessment.
