Catalyst offers users the ability to generate Progress Notes over a specific date range for any student. This note will include all Behavior and Acquisition graphs from the specified date range, student demographic information, progress summaries, as well as additional space for anecdotal information.

Access Progress subtab from the Analysis & Reporting tab in the Students Section.
Create Progress Note
- Click the
icon.
- Click the Report Template dropdown arrow and select the desired template.
- Enter additional Report Information as necessary.
*Denotes Required Field
- *File Name
- *Start Date
- *End Date
- Graph Mode - Color or Black and White
- Graph Interval - Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly
4. Click Generate Report.
Once a Progress Note has been generated, it will display in draft status and can be modified as needed.
Edit Progress Note
A Progress Note in draft form can be edited at any time.
NOTE: If a Progress Note has been published, edits can still be made by converting it back into draft status. To learn more, see Published Progress Notes.
- Click the Drafts
icon to locate desired Progress Note.
- Click on the appropriate Progress Note.
- Click anywhere in the Note to edit and use the editing bar at the top.

- Click the
icon to save the Progress Note.
Track Changes
Catalyst offers the ability to track changes in a Progress Note. This is useful when multiple users are working on and editing a Progress Note.
- Click the
icon to start and stop tracking changes.
NOTE: All changes will be highlighted. Each user's edits will be highlighted in a different color. Hover over edits to display the author of the edit.

Add Graphs
Catalyst offers users the ability to add multiple graphs from the Analysis & Reporting section to a Progress Note.
- Click the
icon.
- Select the checkbox(es) for desired graphs.
- Click Add.
Add Images
Catalyst offers users the ability to add an image to a Progress Note.
NOTE: Images will upload from user's computer.
- Click the
icon.
- If images available have been previously used, they will display.
NOTE: To delete an available image, hover over it and click the red x.
- Click the desired image to insert.
- OR, click the Upload a File button to search for a new image.
- Locate the desired image and upload it.
- Click the desired image.
Publish a Progress Note
Once a draft has been finalized, it can be published. Published reports can be downloaded, printed, or sent electronically.
- Click the
icon.
- Click OK to confirm publishing.
All published reports can be found under the Published folder on the left side of the portal screen.
- Click the Published
icon.
- To download, click on desired Progress Note.
- OR, right-click on desired Progress Note and select Rename, Revisions, Clone, Unpublished, or Delete.
