Organizations have the ability to enable SOAP Notes, which allows users to complete end-of-session SOAP Notes within the Catalyst app and in the Portal. SOAP Notes have a few defaulted features included, such as demographic information, location, signature, and data collected from the session. But SOAP Notes are also highly customizable.

Once SOAP Notes have been created and enabled, users will be able to complete and view SOAP Note responses from the Catalyst app.

Enable SOAP Notes for a Student
- Access the Settings subtab from the Setup Tab in the Students Section.
- Session Settings will determine if the SOAP Note button should allow a User to create a SOAP Note for the Student in the app.
- Set Use/Timesheet/SOAP Note to Yes to enable SOAP Notes in the App for this Student.
- Require SOAP Notes should be set to Yes if you want to make this mandatory. Users will receive an extra visual prompt reminding them to complete a SOAP Note if they attempt to exit the Student Dashboard without completing the required SOAP Note.
NOTE: In order to use Require SOAP Notes, Use Timesheet/SOAP Notes must also be enabled.
